With age our face loses approximately 1% of itsvolume, facial features are less rounded, which contributes to loss of youthfullook, losses occur (resulting in sunken cheeks and tears areas as well as nasolabial folds). The aforementioned losses occur also on upper lip (wrinkles) andchin (marionette lines). With age the skin loses firmness, moves downwards andsaggy skin occurs. The loss changes the facial contours and ageing is noticeable. Thanks to volumetric facelift there is a possibility to prevent face lossesfromoccurring and restore beautiful and youthful appearance. The product sed inthis treatment is based on hyaluronic acid, thus it is resistant toimpact of enzymesand free-radicals.
The treatment lasts around one hour and allows to restore the youthful look of face. No additional preparations are required before the treatment. During the treatment no larger incisions are carried out, and, since general anaesthesia is not required, the recovery period is shortened. It’s important, however, not to take aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs 3 days before the treatment. The treatment is performed by a qualified physician as well as is fast and safe. During the volumetric treatment the preparation is inserted through tiny incisions with a special needle in the area of hairy skin of the head (the incision is around 1mm long and is barely visible). The treatment can also be carried out by taking advantage of the regular needle which is inserted deep in subcutaneous tissue. The preparation is distributed by a gentle massage. A slight discomfort might be felt during the treatment in the form of ‘stretching’ in subcutaneous tissue layer, therefore, upon the patient’s request’ the physician can apply local anaesthesia.
Right after the treatment the patients can return to their daily routine. The injected preparation hydrates perfectly which contributes to beautiful, restful and healthy skin. The effect of volumetric facelift is noticeable directly after the treatment and persists for about 18-24 months (depending on individual predispositions). Light reddening and oedema may occur right after the treatment where the preparation was applied, however, after 2-3 days the symptoms subside spontaneously. Occasionally, slight haematomas might occur which can be covered up by makeup.
