Hyaluronic acid - safe, lasting wrinkle filling. Skin rejuvenation and improvement - long-lasting young appearance!
Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide which can be found in all living organisms. It is in every cell of our organism. It’s a compound which binds water in the skin. One molecule is able to bind 250 water molecules. Young skin is abundant in hyaluronic acid which contributes to its elasticity and lack of wrinkles. Over time, unfortunately, the amount of acid decreases and fine lines and wrinkles are formed. This solution is widely used in medicine, e.g. in orthopaedics it protects the joints against degenerative processes. While in aesthetic medicine it is used primarily as a natural and safe filler. It can be used to improve skin elasticity and firmness, simultaneously enhancing its hydration. The product eliminates imperfections and can be used to correct facial contours, which are prone to changes over time. The acid makes the skin look glowing, protects epidermis against destructive factors and eliminates radicals, which slow down the process of skin ageing.
The treatment with hyaluronic acid, in order to smooth wrinkles, is extremely efficient and ensures immediate results and ,most importantly, is one hundred per cent safe! The effects can persist for 6-16 months (depending on individual predispositions of patients), since the product is subject to gradual absorption. Another advantage of hyaluronic acid is its characteristic regarding the process stimulating collagen synthesis, as a result of acid absorption, the filling effect can persist for some time, thanks to increased volume in the skin. It’s possible to undergo another treatment after this period, in order to still enjoy the beauty and youthful look.
Before the treatment, the area subject to injection is anaesthetized by a cream. The treatment with use of hyaluronic acid is almost painless and not very long (around 30 minutes). The product is applied through thin needles, which prevent from experiencing pain. The result is visible just after injection of the product. However, the effect of the product is not permanent but it is long-lasting. The effect length depends on many factors and is always individual. For example, while filling lips, it’s necessary to refill them after around 7 months. Apart from correction of nasolabial folds, as well as ‘marionette’ and smoker’s ones, there is a possibility to correct facial contours (volumetry) and lips modelling. After injecting the fillers it’s necessary to avoid exposure to high temperature. In some cases after treatment there is a probability of oedema, reddening and a slight pain in the area where the product was injected, these symptoms subside within 72 hours. Sporadically, there is a probability of oedema or hypersensitivity in the event of very sensitive skin.
